A few years ago, my husband left me for another woman when I was in the last month of pregnancy. Then he asked me to come back, but I didn't let him into my life. He cut me out and his own daughter out. I've been through hell. All the years it is a struggle: money, health of myself and my child, problems with housing, visits to a psychiatrist, postpartum depression, psychologist.
Anyway, I pulled myself together and went to work. I finished my master's degree and started to do scientific work. I love my daughter very much, but I don't want more children. I used to want 2-3, but now my trust in men is gone. I immediately think what will happen if he leaves me. Am I ready to be at the bottom again, in a moral sense. No career, no sleep, no support, pulling myself and two kids from maternity leave. Of course not.
