Shoutout to @yuko for helping me bypass the paywall! Super interesting to see the books that made it to the list, out of the ones I read, only 4 really blew me away (Pachinko, The Road, The Underground Railroad, Stay True). Any books on the list (or off it) that really stuck with you? πŸ‘€

Let me know your thoughts when you read it! What did you think of My Brilliant Friend? It’s number one, but I saw some comments in disbelief that it even got that spot πŸ˜‚

Will do! I enjoyed My Brilliant Friend, but would not be my #1. I feel like the mystery of the author really gets ppl excited πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

just finished Stay True, I didn't love it... I ultimately didn't care for the author/main character. Did you like it?

Yeah the author was so pretentious, but took it with a grain of salt given it’s his younger years and was kinda relatable lol. I enjoyed his relationship with Ken and exploration of their Asian American identity the most. Were there parts you liked?
