I have sobbed, bawled my eyes out, ugly cried, and wept buckets over this.

I am not a fan of K-dramas, but this is an exception: it's a masterful recount of a family over 3-4 generations. No slow-motion clichés and the such.

Now I need more lighthearted series to take my mind off it. What should I watch?

Ooo, don’t normally watch k-dramas but might have to give this one a try based on your post!

For lighthearted series, I just finished Hacks and it was sooo good! Refreshing little comedy that’s easy to get into.
