Today I had my intro to loose leaf tea class!

I've been drinking almost daily for close to a decade but I never "learned" a lot of things, I kinda just vibed my way into the hobby (as most do).

I cleaned up my handwritten notes to share. It was a lovely experience and I have a much deeper love for tea now.

I’ve been getting into tea recently too, and love the whole ritual of it, either on my own or with friends.

Went to the cutest tea shop recently and was so nice to spend the afternoon sipping tea and yapping haha

Yes! The tea leaves were placed over some hot charcoal to bring out the aroma and prep them for steeping, was a nice little touch!

Totally! And there's so many variations of rituals based on country.

What's going on in the left picture, is there a small fire under the tea leaves to roast them??
