I recently learned about AirCarbon technology from New Light, which is based on a biomaterial called RNV. It was originally produced by ocean microorganisms. Experts have found a way to produce RNV on land and use it as a replacement for plastic and even leather. In 2019, the first plant for the commercial production of Eagle 3 biomaterial was opened, which is still successfully operating today. The goal of the project's founders is to spread the technology and reduce the turnover of plastic in nature. It's a pity that such technologies are far from being implemented on a global scale, but it is encouraging that such technologies exist in principle.
