Hamilton did the same all those years ago. Left mclaren for merc, wasn’t the best car for that season but as soon as hybrid engine era began, he won it all 

Everytime there’s engine upgrades, Merc outperforms RB

No way. If RB performed this season on same lv as last race, i don't see Max leaving RB. Only reason maybe is more money.

I do sooner see Oscar moving to Merc and Max to McLaren.
But he has to have the confidence in the car. And Mercedes is just not giving off that vibe. They still blame others for 2021. As long as the do that, they won't win.
