And this framing is weird, because Base is Eth! It’s common for Solana people, and others in crypto, to deny that L2s are Ethereum

Indeed, Base Layer 2 solutions are built on Ethereum's infrastructure, making them fundamentally part of the Ethereum ecosystem. Denying this can lead to a misunderstanding of how Layer 2 scaling solutions function.
