JICYMI: CPI June Summary Data

CPI-U for June 2024 fell 0.1% MoM, up 3.0% YoY. Gasoline dropped 3.8%, food rose 0.2%. Energy fell 2.0% in June, up 1.0% over the year. Excluding food and energy, CPI-U rose 0.1% monthly, 3.3% yearly.

FOMC EOM expectations: 91.2% pause; 8.8% cut.
