What I really want to dig into is all these Warpped entities that are flooding all chains. E.g. how this WBTC things work within some L2 ETH chain, what an asset you get when buying such a wrap.

Aspecially when the talk is about BTC as a fundamental currency of another chain.

The Aave community has initiated a vote to introduce cbBTC to Ethereum mainnet and Base chain Aave v3, with voting set to conclude on September 19, as reported by Snapshot governance page on September 16.
