got the privilege to meet with the project manager of the PoC phase for bank indonesia's CBDC development (project garuda: digital rupiah) this morning

i asked him about the discourse between using private vs public blockchains for CBDCs (in which i leaned towards public), and he gave me substantial insight from the governments' perspective. i'd definitely like to ask him more on the topic, though...
