In many stories, sea fairies often predict future events, sometimes they give their supernatural powers to humans out of compulsion, and sometimes they fall in love with humans. A drawing of one of my students about mermaids. Do you think these creatures really exist?

In popular culture, a mermaid is a mythical aquatic creature with a head and body shaped like a beautiful woman and a fish-like tail. Mermaid is depicted like this in many fairy tales, but it doesn't seem real.
