Paragraph is a great product, with plenty of features not available elsewhere. I have been using Substack because I like the recurrent revenue model (monthly or yearly subs), it is way more sustainable than selling NFTs one by one. This only applies if you are planning to charge, earn revenue cont π

Substack also was great for discovery, it finds you readers through their network and recommendations. 40% of my readers find me on Substack Now, Paragraph has integrated smoothly into Farcaster, and they are also getting pretty good a discovery. cont π

In Paragraph, you can mint your articles as NFTs, you can't do this on Substack. You can also let people subscribe via wallet. If I were starting today, I would choose Paragraph (for a web 3 audience), and Substack for non web 3 cont π
