Binance alpha claims to spotlight early-stage projects, but in reality, it often sidelines the very communities that built them.
Projects spend months building with loyal testnet users, contributors, and moderators. But once Binance Alpha steps in, airdrops get restructured, tokenomics shift to suit Binance traders, and Binance wallet users get priority — leaving early contributors behind.
Take @Privasea_ai as an example. OG users tested features, reported bugs, and promoted the project. They got nothing. Meanwhile, new users farmed the airdrop and dumped — with Binance whales profiting the most.
Real contributors who joined AMAs, gave feedback, and stayed loyal are being replaced by influencers and hype farmers. Airdrops are no longer rewards for community effort — they’re exit liquidity strategies. 1 reply
