a common issue I see on sites using CB Smart Wallet is that the pop up gets blocked on safari, and the ui errors out. 

we experienced this too while building moshicam and for us the solution was to not trigger the tx confirmation pop up asynchronously. safari wants you to open the popup immediately when the user clicks

Also there are periods of time where the Smart Wallet and the Coinbase app passkeys stop working for me. I’ve noticed it happens at the same time. Authentication is successful but nothing happens after that, whether it’s a tx in Moshicam or the Coinbase App (separate from the popup issue).

It’s not specific to Moshicam. It’s many apps, including my own. But also when I want to send money out of Coinbase. It’s almost as if it happens when maybe gas is too high or maybe Coinbase themselves are under heavy load? I dunno. But they happen periodically and at the same time. If I try again 10 mins later it’ll work. And it’s across all my Apple devices so 🤷‍♂️

oh damn , and you experience this for wallet passkeys outside of moshicam too? does it happen out of nowhere or maybe after a period of inactivity?
