got a new bedroom fan so naturally i designed and printed an insert to fit a different remote rather than 3d printing a completely new tray πŸ˜‡ using this β€œproduct” every day brings me so much joy. Alan Kay cooked with this line: β€œpeople who are serious about software should make their own hardware”

thats sick! how do you deal with test prints or prints that dont work out? any way to reuse the materials? I debug as I go while programming so I feel like I'd end up with a ton of garbage lol. or is it more of a measure twice cut once type of thing?

definitely a measure twice, cut once approach as much as possible. no way to recycle failed prints at home at the moment β€” i just have a small bin with a bunch of plastic in it lol
