frames are fb apps but with built in wallets, to me that’s the key step forward

killer feature for fb apps was the built in social network. farmville, words with friends - your friends were already on the app.

the ideas unlocked by built in social have mostly been exhausted since then so a lot of frames today feel like rehashes of things we’ve seen before. games with social leaderboards, mini social apps

But now that every user has a wallet and devs can be unburdened from the app store listing process im excited to see what apps will be born
