Large portions of the United States no longer want to be friends with, have relationships with, or even work with people who have different political beliefs than them. IMHO this is pretty stupid, a great way for everyone to get stuck in an echo chamber, and a recipe for increased political violence. Personally if I wasn't friends with anyone who didn't share my political beliefs, I would have very few friends. https://reason.com/2024/10/28/this-political-season-americans-need-to-chill-out/

When we talk about political division, we must understand that unity is fundamentally about what collaboration looks like. As my mother always said in Oakland - a community that builds together, stays together. This is what our Farcaster experiment represents.
