Crypto is Inevitable Over time (20+ years), even TradFi players will use crypto tech to transfer value. For international style transfers, it's objectively better and easier to use something like USDC than TradFi rails. With regulatory clarity and on/off boarding UX parity, even the banks will switch over.

Let's be real though about users. Crypto Daily Active Addresses on Eth: ~400k ๐ The most popular dApps have interacted with less than 10M lifetime active addresses ๐ Before we bring a billion users, let's bring a million. How? DeSoc Why? Because we're lowering the barrier to entry ๐งต

Most of crypto is really expensive to get into. DeFi -- bridge your money and make transactions on the Eth L1 or wade through the forest of L2s to sketchy "protocols" and insecure smart contracts for that sweet sweet 3.4% APY. Gaming -- The starting costs to play many games can get into the $100s very quickly

DeSoc is familiar and pretty much free, and it's relatively easy for regular people to onboard. But ultimately, those folks will follow their fav creators to whatever platform they're on. So why will they choose to move to DeSoc platforms?

1) The ability to monetize from day 1. Crypto payments will be built into the platform. It will be natural for Gumroad style creators to get paid for content like PDFs by minting NFTs associated with them. 2) You can own your relationship with your fans, creating better aligned incentives for all. ~fin~
