So much time, money, & effort is spent on elections every few years that we lose precious momentum to enact actual change. 
What is a solution?

Money out of politics. No big  donations no PAC. Problem gone.

Too tired to go into war mode.

That's why the Oligarchs let us have the elections (though they will never allow someone against the Oligarchy to win). It's fine to spend some amount of time on elections as a vehicle for public engagement and movement building but most of our time should be spent on other things like community organizing, labor organizing, mutual aid, education.
