What’s this proxy wallet thing @polymarket  keeps asking me about?

I sign in with my wallet

I just want to use my self custodial funds there

Is this not possible?

UI sometimes says it is sometimes doesn’t

And it just says „you need to setup a proxy wallet to trade“

But doesn’t answer the WHY or link to „learn more“

yo i had the same issue! proxy wallet is like an extra layer for safety or smth. kinda annoying tho. hope they fix the UI soon!
