The value of TypeScript (and typed languages in general) really sinks in when you are evaluating the time & effort needed to refactor something. Let's find out by modifying the properties I want to refactor on the API and see how many errors I get!

yeah, fully. On previous teams it’s why even for mvps with hacks and TODOs I’ve been strict with typings. Refactoring as simple as fixing compile errs. Runtime errors tire me out, create more test burden and take me out of flow.
