I guess only independent devs and small companies building models may not accept these conditions

but studio ghibli or any other creator could not notice them if they are not enough mainstream, or could ignore them.. allowing underdogs to continue researching and creating too while the big players earning millions pays the bill

That’s a good point. Maybe this divide between indie and mainstream creators will lead to more innovation in unexpected places
