Collectors are willing to pay 3$ to mint your art but you only get 1$ from it

I’ve “sold” more than 1k pieces on Zora. 
People spent 3000$ but i didnt even earn half of it..

Isnt the blockchain supposed to get rid of the middle man..?

Why are artists not getting the majority of it..?

Fees on layer2s cost 1 fuckin cent..

everyone could deploy their own infra..  with that cost of transaction.. 👀

yeah, security is important.. great point,

well, I am one of these builders that would have no problem on helping artists to get ride of the middle man forever, could be built to do that haha but I also like some of these platforms and I know that they have been built with the same intent.. but sometimes, the money in front of you... calls you.

exactlyyyy!!! but you know.. artists usually dont know how to do that stuff and people are always scared to connect their wallet to unofficial websites..

i bet people would be scared to connect their wallet even on Beeple's website ahahah
