That’s actually why DAOs could work. Parties are the furthest thing from a DAO.

IDK so much about american parties, internal rounds, elections, and all that systems, but any party working like an assembly, in the style of old parties and sindicates, is a great candidate for a DAO, imo

but I think they cannot accept transparency...
