those companies tracking you and selling your data to ads companies or even worst to cambridge analytics and they do an attack on your democracy like the one in trumo vs clinton

See this is all well and good until you remember that if you want to allow very basic functionality like user logins, you're using cookies. Cookie opt-in should never need to be displayed unless the data is being shared, or contains non-functional or assumed/crosslinked data (i.e: tracking).
