If R senators “weren’t prepared to convict Trump after hiding out in basements on Jan 6 it’s hard to imagine they’re going to vote [now] against someone like Matt Gaetz…tough to imagine constructing a spine now that Trump is actually in a position to put you in the crosshairs.”
