The fragrance of flowers sways, the morning breeze prances

The heart, restless, dances, as a beggar it beats

For the seeker on the path of divine love so pure,
In the heart must only God's name endure

What power has God granted to this cure?
Even the remedy dances, seeking the beloved's allure

If the beloved's memory ignites the poet's muse,
Verse after verse, complete or mere clues, dance in hues

I asked the stricken to explain the essence of dance,
He uttered just two words with a fleeting glance

My heart pledged allegiance to the hands of love
A punishment bestowed by the beloved above

I asked the patient of love, what’s the remedy, what’s the prayer
They replied softly, Just tell them to dance everywhere
