In this day and age, it may feel like all of this is futile, like a drop in the ocean, that your effort lacks meaning. 

But! There are people out there — in our universe who will understand you, there are people out there are willing to believe in you — and that is worth fighting for

We are on a tiny rock, many many light years away from other systems, millions of miles away from other planets — why even do anything at all. 

The choice to do something at all - to fight for anything that you believe in - no matter what others think or say - has power in and of itself, I respect you for it no matter what people say

I was just listening to a podcast and the guest was asked what do you say to people who say "i am just a tiny speck of dust in this big universe, so nothing i do matters"

the guest response was even if you were suddenly scaled to be as big as Jupiter tomorrow, you still have to do stuff. everything matters.
