Starting a network state on earth feels like competing for resources that are already finite - in terms of economy, power, politics Why not expand into the universe instead and the infinite riches that await us Why fight over scraps between us when the whole universe is ahead of us as a species

It’s like academia - not enough professorships and academic positions for the smart folks in the world Just start something new instead of fighting for scraps between us - venture forth, explore expand and make something new - better yet, let’s become something new

It’s the dawn of the age of new solar civilization… but We can decide this is it - we’ve peaked OR we can decide that we’ve only just begun to realize our full potential and our best days as a species continues to lie in our future and into the great beyond of the solar system (and further, further still)

Joining already existing game limits one’s influence and potential to bounds of that game. Much energy is lost on adjusting to structures build for anyone but you. There is power struggle. By building something new we build it for ourselves and those alike. We put most energy into creation, not struggle.
