We are really close to fully starting manufacturing Roc Cameras on a day to day basis But it turns out the hardest part so far hasn't been the actual manufacturing or production of the device but prepping everything to get to the point where we can do that - that has taken a long time

It's almost like the machine that makes the machines needs to be debugged and properly calibrated and ready to go, before it can start pumping out machines. But the idea here is that making that happen takes a good amount of time It's sort of like - manufacturing / production is a product in and of itself that you have to build. I underestimated how much this is a product

The great classic; building the thing that enables you to build the thing you actually want to build. Creating that production process can be extremely fulfilling and often add lots of value to the end product itself, through the discovery of certain intricacies. The trick is always remembering the final thing we're actually here to build of course
