When’s the last time you made a decision you thought you’d regret but it ended up being great

It’s something I thought I’d regret but I don’t know yet. I quit my full time job (at a big 4 accounting firm doing adversary) to trade crypto. To give some context, asians typically do not do that as they treat profession as an “iron rice bowl”. 

I’m just taking the “very irresponsible” path of let’s see what comes and we’ll deal with it.
