C) is weirdest because it happens most often in the subtle ways: reframe the past to fit the narrative An example of this is Dawn of Everything by David Graeber - rewriting Native Americans as singular barbarians - so propaganda was easier to create https://us.macmillan.com/books/9780374157357/thedawnofeverything
