We need an "Engineering Channel" Something that encompasses: - mechanical engineering (hardware, DIY, tinkering) - electrical engineering (electronics, IoT, edge, embedded devices, etc) - systems engineering (robotics, space, aerospace, etc) - cyber physical systems (sensors, simulation, modeling for systems etc)

This is a good example of how top level topics can dilute nuanced sub categories. Yes, all the things you mentioned fall underneath this topic, but it will result in chaos if one can't find specifically which of these categories they want to contribute to. Solution: sub tags for better filtering.
