When mass consumer space travel becomes possible that is when we will no longer have nation states or even network states

There is no nation state, there aren’t even network states

Why will that be the case?

Too many people will realize that nations and borders don’t really exist, how artificial they are - when they see Earth as a whole

Self-sustainable space colonies will be a prelude to that.
Knowing there are fellow human being (societies?) far from Earth will be a paradigm shift.
