Some loose thoughts about memes: Art throughout history has often found itself propagate through mimesis, through mimicry. Art and expression often are presented through re-presentation of reality, some experience, or some state of what we experience, or that we see or feel - a representative reality

In some ways, we represent these different realities often subjectively, through our experiences, but often it turns out that these subjective trials and tribulations that we go through, share through art or music or otherwise are universal, and there is some universality to them Memes as a reduced version of this

Often think about how Kobe mentions that there would be no Kobe Bryant without Michael Jordan As a student of the game he copied every single one of MJโs moves and practiced them until they were his too. Because his body and movements are different, they manifest into something different altogether

Memes are essentially satire art. Satirical art is all about seeing the humor, irony, or exaggeration to critique societal norms, political issues, or cultural trends. ๐ Some memes can definitely provoke thought, challenge authority, entertain audiences while making a commentary on the world around them. ๐ฅณ

This is very interesting. More loose thoughts. If I ventured a definition of art it would be something like this: the discovery of the myriad nature of experience. All of it, science, memes, language, painting, sculpture, GIFart, etc seems to be a means for understanding the possibilities of experience.
