Are these Monad test net tokens worth anything? 

What's the best way to use them? 

This is all new and strange to me 🤷‍♂️

Should not be worth anything. It is to pay for transactions on the Monad testnet. I am assuming mainnet is not yet live.

probably not. To be honest this is the first time I see people this excited to be given testnet tokens. Also first time I see testnet tokens airdropped as if they are real.

So do people just not understand what it's about?

Hard to say. I would hope they do. I think the strong social aspect is just being readily visible. But its also proof people can get excited about anything if they see important people be excited about it.
