it’s a Steve Jobs, tough love, type moment. 

we lose some headcount (🫡),  cut expenses by 80%, and get back to business. 

the alternative of treading water for more Seasons was probably worse imo.

🎩 first, but I like being part of this experiment that is the Farcaster network. 

Real growth is built on the shoulders of commitment, not sudden decisions.

I haven’t been banned, and my goal was never short term gains or exploiting the system!!!

Because of my promotion and the commitments made at the beginning of the season, a large number of wallets were registered and locked. I was under immense pressure, and today, I personally covered a loss of 34,000 degen for ban accounts as a claim amount from my own pocket.

I personally invested $45,000 into degen over just 15 days.
Now, with all my allowances from this season, my total holdings are down to $13,000.

I don’t care whether this becomes $500K or goes to zero.

I supported someone who didn’t honor their commitments.
They could have finished this season and started the next one with any plan they wanted.
I would have defended them with all my heart.

All my social media was filled with Degen images.
But now!!!

Yes, exactly. 

I don’t love what was done, but I can see the logic behind it; there was no real sustained growth, it was a system that was being gamed and I think the price of Degen reflects that. 

Uncertainty remains but hopefully it all works out
