I want to understand better how devs make the build vs. use open source decision. Not invented here is a BIG thing, and yet, there are things devs will use without thinking twice about it.

From my own experience, using existing code had one of these qualities: - It is very well written and I easily understand what‘s going on - It solves a quiet hard problem that I don‘t dare to try to solve by myself - It is a well established project or industry standard
