Purple’s goal is to proliferate and expand the Farcaster protocol and ecosystem.

For our #retropgf consideration, please share & support our onchain mission to feed children & provide education, school supplies & opportunities to the builders & creators of tomorrow! ⌐◨-◨💜

We recently went to the Dominican Republic and distributed food, school supplies and clothing to 350 children. We aim to continue to build our onchain charity mission in the following ways:

- Onchain Curriculum: lesson plans for teachers, including lessons for students to learn wallet safety & the value of self custody, publishing onchain art, & earning for their families
- Focused giving events in under-served local neighborhoods, including distributions of school supplies, laptops, and setting up communities and schools with wi-fi access points
- Online classes & seminars for teachers & students to attend globally, to help them answer questions and onboard new creators and builders into Base, Farcaster, and onchain careers as artists, musicians and devs.

Our submission for /purple #retropgf was approved. Thank you @ekinci.eth. This post represents our final submission. Likes on this post will count towards funding our next missions to provide education to bring more creators onchain thru Farcaster. Please share on your timeline to help us get support.

- Fed 350 children, distributed bookbags full of school supplies, all with funds raised on Farcaster
- Onboarded 50+ artists, many of whom were invited to Farcaster for the first time to publish works for charity
- Collected signatures & logos from over 69 sponsors, & delivered videos showing what we did together for us all to share across our channels and profiles
- Created a great case for Farcaster nonprofit causes
- Hundreds of volunteers shared the cause on Farcaster, and shared Farcaster links out on other social medias
- Together, we Farcaster users made real world impact and changed lives with this project!
