Inspired by t.me/higherio chat >> "Higher could become the first public, data-driven, evolving network state with an inherent ambitous culture, drive towards fulfilment, self-actualization and success for individuals, the shared brand & network but no [clear path, endgoal]" Can this be successful? Why would one join or even contribute? I think structureless in an early stage project is relatively hopeless. At least, you need some leaders that create value, steer the community or fire it up community - but the good news is: You can have/measure success in many ways & most startups win by iterating and doubling down on things with pmf. So, why not make this the DNA - while giving the organism & its stakeholders a few more tools & resources to organize, grow, cross paths & remain closely connected to the core?

Backstory: I've been thinking quite a bit about challenges, rewards, incentives & seen many (especially crypto) startups make it quite hard for newcomers to join & contribute, in fact building up additional barriers for adoption instead of breaking them down one by one. Let's take /higher-athletics as a great example. it's not good to need full-on verifications or tech gadgets if you just wanna try it out. 1️⃣ There should be easy get-started initiatives without any verifiability requested & mini prizes. 2️⃣ If you gather a slightly bigger crowd, maybe even a regular group or run occassionally big events to rally the whole community, you need some basic verifiability such as uploading a pic (still no need to request everyone to have an iphone, ora ring & share exact tracking data). 3️⃣ The ultimate goal could be creating an extreme group that pushes each other, plays for real prizes & maybe even accomplish more together. The more competitive, the bigger the prizes, the better tracking is needed
