I do in fact agree, more so on an Asset to Asset Basis but obv there‘s also differences among chains which means eth on shady alt l1 or l2 without fraud proofs should be slightly discounted which can be best enforced by charging fees & blacklisting assets, not paying incentives to import/export assets in other ecosystems.

(Still kinda complicated as many businesses work in that area and will offer service to circumvent the fees)

ETH on Arbitrum should be worth more than ETH on some obscure L2

They aren't the same ETH bc they have different security aspects. They both should be priced differently, so there shouldn't be a 1:1 conversion

Same like ETH on Starknet is worth more than ETH on Mode

I never understood why well-parameterized, safe stablecoins were 1:1 exchangeable for shit stables like Luna.

I believe there will Only a few secure base layer protocols and some that Investor that Security.

Not inviting toxic assets into shared infra, dex pools is clearly a necessity.

Sinilarly slapping fees on Transfers elsewhere can be seen as a Protection but prob not very effective.
