A potential simplification *For users* Farcaster - social networking app you can download in the app store It's has a lot of cryptonative and crypto curious people. A lot of people building new stuff. There's a feed, messaging, an integrated wallet and mini-apps. *For developers* It's built on an open, permissionless decentralized system that any developer can access. And if you build a mini-app for Farcaster, other apps with lots of users (i.e. crypto wallets) can easily showcase your app in their app—massively increasing your distribution with no additional work from you. Ship once, be everywhere.

Fun story: all my irl Friends onboarded already forgot there were 2 names and when they themselves onboard others nobody ever ever mentions the word protocol. Users: Social Media with crypto (integrations, tokens, earning opportunities, wallet), Channels for specific interests, main feed, miniapps for fun Devs: Spot on. Great platform to build small, fun, crypto, social, socialfi apps & benefit from Distribution as well as strong crypto user base and dev base Product/Communities: Great way to build an initial community, Experiment with new Apps, Features. Hopefully soon it will also pay off to have your community chat, easily share content & benefit from being close to the up-to-date crypto cutting edge discussions, activity, etc.

Prob won’t recommend building a Client to devs anytime soon again except some light Version Like Integrating 1 channel and having one Standout feature for your community - it you need/want it
