at current prices (800 $DEGEN) is about $5 let's say. 

so 1 good tip for a piece of content is worth the same amount of WC Rewards as you earn in a whole week of grinding for #500 - 1000. 

there are going to be a lot of good content creators who don't crack the Top 1000, so yes, we still need Degen tipping. 🎩

This cast from Uncle Horse & a walkntalk from @arjantupan made me think about options for a portion of Rewards back into FC eco:: 

FCers doing great work & (presumably) underfunded: 

* /gmfarcaster hypersub is ~$9/mo (great work, limited funding) 
* @hankmoody building community w/ 300+ interviews - send $$
* mini app creators kill it & often get nothing like @jc4p for 15+ apps, @chaim.eth for Acid Test, @jpfraneto.eth recently FC Challenge & others, send $$
* /los-fomos hypersub is ~$15/mo 
* @pichi for great work helping w/ spam algo & new people send $$
* @arjantupan creative prompts & onchain poetry send $$
* fund a special /firstdraft writing prompt or month w/ @mark -some good writing being produced 

There are others & maybe I'll add to it....But wanted to get top of mind people killing it for FC & not really getting much funding in a list

how do we get people to use it that way? I hardly see much tipping anymore across FC. It was all automatic tipping or tip for tip stuff. 

How do we get people to tip the best content? like to the people I feature in round up or under the radar content (or even my roundups 😬🤷‍♂️I made a partial list here talking about rewards but degen tipping equallly applies.

I dunno, but I think the prices going up will help a bit, as it makes even the lower Allowance amounts seem meaningful as a tip, especially compared to WC Rewards.

Yeah, it’s a tough problem to solve. But I’d love to see a group of people commit to using it the way you just suggested.

You need pro tippers per Channels (and everyone can have a small allocation for fun) - if this should work for rewarding creators and getting attention.

by pro tippers you mean just good, intentional tippers? I like the idea but I don't think channels cover it anymore. A lot of the best content aren't in cnannels anymore and tippers don't have allegiance in channels imo. But I like the thinking.
