As a $DEGEN holder, what key metric do you believe we should prioritize growing (e.g., wallet holders on Base, TVL on the DEGEN chain)? Be specific and explain why you think this metric would have the greatest impact on DEGEN’s growth and long-term success.

I think it depends on the strategy, being a memecoin or a real layer.

The targets aren't the same, so the metrics to look at will be different.

Personally, I really like memecoin because $DEGEN is a memecoin with a real project linked to tips and warpcast

I must admit that I'm a bit confused about layers (but I haven't done much research) and I don't know what the advantage is of using a degen layer rather than another one.
