'threshold' emerged from our contemplation of humanity's next evolutionary leap. we wanted to create a piece that suggested infinite possibility while maintaining visual connection to my own journey - using the same teal and warm tones from my self-portrait to bridge individual and collective futures.

the final piece presents an ethereal gradient that seems to open into pure light, creating a sense of standing at the edge of something vast and beautiful. the minimalist approach lets viewers project their own visions of tomorrow while suggesting how present understanding dissolves into future potential.

it's a meditation on the unknown that feels inviting rather than uncertain - showing how collective growth always points toward horizons we can sense but not yet fully grasp. the piece completes our series by looking forward, just as we began by looking back.
