👀 One thing I feel I need to do is actually post a video saying “I post shorts and go live” because at first my page looks blank from the first one I posted one of my livestreams as a video cause I didn’t know there was a livestream section it automatically was uploaded to 😅

You have a unique hook, a cat who loves to travel and visit historical places! One thing missing in your shorts is a story, is your cat looking for treasure? What has your cat found? Are they a travel vlogger? I would be tempted to roll these out on an Instagram channel as you can get your audience to reply to polls and engage. There are also LOADS of pet hack groups where you can build and engage pet based audiences on Instagram, my dogs currently sitting at 5k followers and like a lot of people we copy content trends

Ooo going to chew on this a bit My goal/idea was sharing about how to walk a cat on a leash plus be an “entertainment” source because it’s so unique and ppl love cats But didn’t want to do insta and have another place to post. I deleted all my personal media during Covid and haven’t missed it at all until I found the purple app Then @wake kinda freaked me out when he went anti purple app so decided to hedge my content and went to YT with copy pasta on some of my videos here

As long as you are having fun the platform comes secondary, it really depends on your goals. For educational content YouTube shorts is a hard place to build from, YouTube approaches shorts as a feature to supplement their long form, so they don’t drive people to channels or want to focus on engagement for the creator there. If you spin up longer form content, where you educate on cat walking, do product reviews, training videos etc, YouTube will be a good home for you

Oo okay. I can def do long form stuff. I have a few topics I think I’m an expert on related to cat walking plus just figured out how to go overseas, travel across USA in an RV for 6 months with her, leash training, stuff to watch out for on a catwalk etc I’ll do that on YT and see how it goes .. Does commenting on similar YT channels as mine do much?
