Position yourself for Runes. 

There’s a high chance of landing some of the most significant 100x opportunities in Q2 and Q3. It may seem like there are many projects, but in reality, there aren’t. You have approximately 15-20 pre-Runes projects (both pre-Runes inscriptions and BRC-20s set to migrate). 🧵

First and foremost, a Bandit. Building. Writing and reading. Commodities enthusiast. 100% correct opinions.

The total market cap of all pre-Runes projects is just over $500M. That’s negligible in fungible tokens. I won’t even compare it with the market cap and trading volumes historically seen in Ethereum, the recent memecoin boom in Solana, or with presales in Solana and BNB amounting well beyond $500M.

Consider that in the BRC-20 landscape alone, $SATS and $ORDI have a cumulative market cap of almost $2.5B. Remember, $RATS has a market cap of $400M.

You’re operating in an ecosystem where, given the limited number of projects and the fact that we’re literally early because the protocol hasn’t even launched yet, your chance of success is significantly higher.

You have the benefit of hindsight; you’ve seen that fungible tokens on Bitcoin, even with a sub-optimal trading experience, gave birth to multiple 1000x across the BRC-20 landscape.

Are you really going to believe that a better trading experience on Bitcoin for fungible tokens, derived from a protocol from the same creator of the Ordinals theory, isn’t going to perform? You probably won’t believe that because, again, you’ve seen what happened to those who thought Ordinals were just a fad.

We’re running this again, with the benefit of hindsight, by ourselves while everyone else is concentrated on whatever new meta has presented itself in other L1s or L2s. Keep your focus, continue researching pre-Runes, and keep positioning yourself; it will pay off.

Most of them will not deliver a 100x return, and some may not deliver at all, but you don’t have to sift through hundreds or thousands of projects.

Great thread! Imo it's important not to solely focus on runes projects. They might be a safer bet, but there will be a lot 1000x opportunities like minting a completely degen shitcoin rune someone etched. You might burn a lot of btc but it will be worth it in the end
