Onchain Gaming

Fully Onchain games are the only games I would consider web3 games. 

Everything else is just games.

Farcaster needs web3 to be successful and unique so yes. 

Def agree that not all games need to be fully on chain but they are just games with cool features. Not an entire new genre.

Not every game needs to be fully onchain though - like a FPS

yep - web 2.5 games are a natural step for gaming

for sure there is a place for web 2.5 games in the foreseeable future but I agree wholeheartedly and feel there is nothing more cringeworthy than replications of the EVM in its most benign form larp’ing as “gaming chains”.
