context: I am trying hard to come up with an compelling reason for end user to prefer an app built with decentralised data infrastructure. Composability and interoperability is for devs. Data portability is not as crucial. Being able to 'own and earn' from your data is the best.

I think this is especially true in the context of llm. End users for apps need to be educated that they are getting a bad deal from most of the web2 FREE apps. However data union and data dao is rather alien and applications are still the best way for data onramp(eg. most web2 app didnt explicitly ask for data)

So dapps, supposedly being governed by a DAO, are ideal for governing the data generated comparing to a separate DAO or Union

Nice, building dataDAOs instead of dapps seems powerful. I’ve always thought of a dapp as a single front end though. A dataDAO would have multiple. Maybe the concept of a “dapp” should be dropped altogether?

Yeah. with open data and protocol, it requires a set of new relations of production for data, among apps/frontend, user, and maybe dataDAO
