has anyone looked into if its legal to make tokens thru token launchers? i'd like to and am in japan but curious even for usa or canada. @betashop.eth if i recall moxie had some careful design for this, know anything?

The unsatisfying answer is: it depends. It’s legal to make a token in USA and Canada, but if you tell people your token gives them equity in a project, it’s illegal. It’s legal to make a token in USA and Canada, but if you tell people your token gives them future rewards that are higher than what they paid, then it’s illegal. YMMV
